casual focus gets happens kept league lose picks second shots team took
They just kept pecking away at us. We got casual and the shots we took are the shots you don't really like. That's what happens in this league so often, you lose your focus for a second or two and the other team picks it up and gets it back.
ball felt four fourth game gave guys job left minutes needed took win
We gave (Sacramento) everything they needed to get their game going and win the ball game. I took the timeout with four minutes left in the fourth because I felt like the guys that were in just weren't going to get the job done.
ball care experience guys messed mistake pin point revealing sort stop talk took top turn
They executed, they got on top of the basket. If you made a mistake defensively, they took care of it. They made us turn the ball over if we messed up our spacing on the floor. They used us on the pin down. Guys couldn't get up and get over screens. It was kind of a revealing experience for our players. You see those things and talk about those things, but we aren't able to get to that point where we can stop that sort of thing.
alive second tonight took
I never took him out the second half. Usually I take him out, but he was so alive tonight that I didn't take him out at all.
begin game hard shot time took
He took off like the game was all his, to begin the ballgame. He shot every time he got it. And, fortunately, he made it. So it's hard for you to say too much in that situation.
ball basket confident extremely free played playing seemed terrific took
He's (Palacio) terrific, he was terrific down the stretch. He made his free throws; he took the ball to the basket and just played extremely well. He seemed to be very confident playing in that position.
took
That was pretty big for us. It took away their momentum.
alive ball job passing second shot terrific tonight took
Andrei was terrific. He was all over the place. He was terrific defensively, he shot the ball well and did a terrific job passing the ball. I never took him out the second half. Usually I take him out, but he was so alive tonight I didn't take him out at all.
asking best bit cause deal great harsh hold karl players policy tendency work
I'm not asking them to be Karl Malone, but I think I have a right to hold players accountable. If I do that, then I'm being a little bit too harsh on them at times. But we have a tendency to think that no work is the best policy and that will cause you a great deal of trouble.
feeling
I kind of got that feeling after a while. If I'm being discussed, I kind of want to be there.
bear darn kick watching
The Bear was pretty darn funny. I got a kick out of watching him.
games involved
That is one of those most disappointing games that I've been involved in. And for a game with this much significance.
casual ears looked waxed
They just waxed our ears back pretty good. In the first half, we looked like we were pretty casual about it.
deal difficult familiar rhythm shots standing time
They (Jazz players) are not familiar with how to deal with the pressure, and so that's how they've always done it ? overpower people, and get shots off. But you have to make them. Because when we take standing shots that are not really in a rhythm or anything, we have a difficult time (defending) the other end of the floor.
