chances creating feeling good last scoring six starting
These last six games, I've been feeling better and things are starting to roll. As a group, we're creating more scoring chances and it's good for everybody's confidence.
best days far four game importance knew period played third
The third period was probably the best we've played in a long time. It was a very big game for us as far as momentum. We all knew the importance of it. We've got four days to live with it now.
cup emotions game happy losing scoreboard stanley
Obviously, we weren't happy with the way the game was going. Emotions get going when you look at the scoreboard and you're losing in the Stanley Cup Finals. And that's what happens.

But we know it's going to be tough, nobody in our room is getting ahead of it.
good home road start
But we can improve. It was not a good road trip, but it's good to come home and start over with the home opener.
close enter game great hear learning side team winning
Learning to play in big games, Game 7 and Game 6, all of it is a whole different level. It's different hockey, it's great hockey. On the other side of it, we were that close (to winning the Cup), (so) we're hungry. To get that close and hear the other team celebrating, and know it could have been us, that does enter your mind.
chances exact front legitimate staying sticking
We don't know the exact secret, it's about sticking with it and staying positive. It's not just being in front, we had legitimate chances in front of the net, we had two-on-ones.

We want to be a hard, physical team to play against and fighting does happen in that. Our fight, whoever it is on our team, it pumps us up.

both edmonton forward good great improved looking quick team though top year
It's going to bea great battle, no question. I'm really looking forward to it. Even though we weren't two of the top teams, they were always some pretty good battles. And I think this year we're going to be an improved team and Edmonton is going to be improved. Both are quick and both like to be physical. It's going to be great.
both great
It's going to be a great battle. Both are improved, both are quick, both like to play physical.
couple feeling good last letting rubs talented talked today tough trusting upbeat work
It's been a tough couple of days, but they showed up today and were upbeat and feeling good and that rubs off on all of us. We talked about that last night, we've got to relax. We're a very talented group, that's not in question, and we all want to work hard, that's not in question. It's just letting it go, just trusting it.
close ducks game good period point positives ready series third
It's been a close series the whole way. We take the positives and get ready for Game 5. From our point of view, the third period was a good period for our club. Right to the end, we had some chances. You've got to give the Ducks credit.
