dream kind
I kind of have to pinch myself. A lot of my dreams are coming true.
couple team hockey
I think we came out the last couple of game and have been able to get it going. The first couple we were tentative a little bit, that energy, maybe excite. I saw in the last couple of games we've been able to channel that and use it in a positive way to go, be aggressive, physical and skate. When we're skating and physical we're at our best and put a lot of pressure on the other team that way.
believe littles taste
The first step is to believe that it's possible. Once I had a taste of success, you start to believe in it a little more.
career continue excited finish flames help team
I'm excited to continue my career with the Flames and help this team finish what we started in the 2004 playoffs,
area machine
In that area there's a lot to live up to -- what a machine Gelly was,
advantage legs regular tired
In playoffs, I think home-ice advantage is not as big as it is in the regular season. I think everybody's prepared. There are no tired legs or anything like that.
game half help hold second
The first half of the game was ours, the second half theirs. We have to find a way to hold the lead. We didn't help Kipper out very much tonight.
couple determined enjoying games tonight
The first couple of games we were a little tight. Tonight we were more relaxed, more determined and enjoying the playoffs. This is what it's all about.
company composure physical saw tv
The company he's in -- I just saw something on TV the other day -- it's pretty impressive. It's not just his goals. His physical play, his composure ... it's his whole game. He's been unbelievable here.
bench few huge leg looked night saves solid sticks tough
All night he just looked so solid in there making tough saves look so easy. There were a few right on the crease where from the bench they looked like they were going in, but then he sticks out his leg and makes the save and those are huge boosts.
buzz good guys hear missed nice ninth time touch year
This is my ninth year here and I think I missed one of these tournaments for the World Cup. You come back and see the guys -- it's great. You keep in touch by e-mail but it's kind of a nice buzz to hear the anticipation. It's a good time of the year.
game good improve simple type work
You can see that's not as good as we can play or the type of game we want to play. We're going to work to improve it. It's as simple as that.
bunch love sure
I'm sure he didn't want that, either. He was in there battling. Personally, I had a bunch there in the first I'd love to have back.
pressure
I don't think the pressure shifts. I think it's the same; there's more pressure on them. I don't think that changes.
