careful played trouble week
This was a big step. I can't play that much anymore. I have to be very careful of what I do. This week I didn't have any trouble with my back, and I played like a champion.
aggressive familiar played pleased positions second time
It's only the second time I've played it and I'm not real familiar with the positions from which I should play and how aggressive I can be. But I'm very pleased with the start.
friday played today worst
Today was the worst I've played in the tournament. I played pretty well on Friday and I played really well on Saturday.
front frustrated gotten nine par played rounds second shot
I played as well on the front nine as I've played in many, many years. I should have gotten more than 3 under par out of it. Then I got frustrated on the second nine and shot 1 over. This was one of those rounds that could have been really, really low, but I couldn't make any putts.

I played well this week. I hit a lot of very, very good golf shots. I relish the challenge of playing and going out at age 60 like I did when I was 50.

Probably one of the best ball-striking days I've had this year. If I continue to strike the ball like I did and improve my putting, I think I'll be right in there.

Coming down the back nine, I just putted poorly. I hit a few loose shots on the back nine. It actually came down to just some very poor putting once again. The putting has been the nemesis over the last three or four months. It's getting to be a little frustrating, I suppose.

diving game highlights home might stuff
You always see on the highlights the home run. You might see the diving catch. You don't see the spectacular stuff, the stuff that really makes the game work. That's what we're missing.
grown impressive kids known since
We've known all these kids since they were babies. It's impressive to see what they've grown up to become.
conditions difficult golf great memories seeing
That's too bad. I like the golf course. We're seeing it under some difficult conditions because of the greens, (but) I have great memories here.

I think if I had to point to one thing this week that was the most rewarding and heartwarming, it was meeting Jacques and coming to appreciate the struggles that he and his family have been through,

I think maybe he's starting to come to the realization he can't drive that first green at Cherry Hills like he did in 1960,
