last left nine order putting
I'm not putting as well as I need to in order to overtake that 70 (Friday). I left a lot of putts out there, especially the last nine holes. It kind of tarnished that 66 a bit.
few holes knew last needed strong today
I had my chances. I didn't have my putts on the last few holes and I am disappointed. I knew I needed to play strong today and didn't play well.
came coming few four hit last loose poor putting shots three
Coming down the back nine, I just putted poorly. I hit a few loose shots on the back nine. It actually came down to just some very poor putting once again. The putting has been the nemesis over the last three or four months. It's getting to be a little frustrating, I suppose.
anxiety coming last nervous tall telling win
If I said I wasn't nervous coming down the last hole, I'd be telling a tall one. This win put some anxiety I had aside.
happen knew last lead saw three until
I really didn't know what was going on until I got to 16. Then I saw I had the lead with Bob. I knew something was going to happen in the last two or three holes.
last
Try seven. I birdied the last two holes.
ball coming days driving easier either eliminate few good green helps hitting last left missing perhaps seems short side silly sort
Overall, two very good days hitting the ball. It seems like I'm either doing things very, very well or doing some silly things, missing the green perhaps on the short side and driving the ball well out of play, missing some easier putts than one would think you would miss. At 7-under, I feel like I've left a few out there, but at the same time, coming in with two birdies on the last two holes, sort of helps eliminate some of that.
abandoned ball continue couple good hit last patient putter putting roll style tried
(Friday), the putter abandoned me early, and I never got it back. I went to a little different putting style. And I did roll the ball much better. I had more opportunities. I tried to be a little more patient and continue to hit good shots. Eventually, you're going to make a couple even if you don't putt well. That's what I did the last couple of holes.
game knew
I knew Loren would be successful. He's just got the right game for it.
above ball execute feet hit knew lie needed tight
I knew when I hit it that it wasn't enough. The lie was tight and the ball was above my feet I didn't execute it very well. I needed to hit it solidly but I hit it a little heavy.
lives playing sort team
It's sort of the U.S. team playing the team that lives in the U.S.
biggest guys learned
The biggest thing I've learned is ... I've learned myself. It's something a lot of these guys never do.
against eagle good putt
The big eagle on 17 was the clincher, ... The putt was up against the collar, which is never a good place to be.
poorest shot water
It was just probably the poorest executed shot of the week. You're going over water one way or another, why not go at the flag?
