arnold game great leaves name palmer players spirit synonymous
When Arnold leaves the scene, we're not going to see Arnold disappear, ... Arnold Palmer will always be synonymous with the game of golf, in name at least. I think the spirit of Arnold Palmer will still be with us for many, many years, as all the great players are.
guys looking
At least I can see the leader. There are a lot of guys right there. If you're looking at one person, you're probably going to be looking at their brake light. You've got to get really aggressive. You'd better not be looking back.
asked
As long as I have a chance, that's all I've ever asked of myself.
caught experience hard helped tried
I think experience helped out there, ... I tried really hard not to get too distraught or too caught up in the moment.
fell help hopefully journey largely man responsibility touched week
Jacques' story has touched me pretty deeply, the journey this young man has had, ... The responsibility to help him this week fell largely on my shoulders, and hopefully I did that.
golf great helps problem
I think it's great for golf. I don't see any problem with it, if it helps our sponsor.
challenge compete golf relish younger
I think it's because of my athleticism that I'm able to compete with these younger guys, ... ... I relish the challenge. I challenge myself to go out at 60 and play the same golf I did at 50.
best bring champions encourage great players possibly welcome
I welcome it. I think to bring the best players that we possibly can, to encourage them to play, is great for the Champions Tour.
afraid ball came green intensity level putting regular
He's done, unfortunately, what I was afraid he was going to do. He came right off the regular tour. There is an intensity level that you still have to have, and to see what he can do with a ball on a putting green ...
ball coming days driving easier either eliminate few good green helps hitting last left missing perhaps seems short side silly sort
Overall, two very good days hitting the ball. It seems like I'm either doing things very, very well or doing some silly things, missing the green perhaps on the short side and driving the ball well out of play, missing some easier putts than one would think you would miss. At 7-under, I feel like I've left a few out there, but at the same time, coming in with two birdies on the last two holes, sort of helps eliminate some of that.
kick swift tail
I got a swift kick in the tail end this week.
depend leading point roger stars
My point exactly. We still depend on Roger Clemens being out there on the mound. We still depend on our stars leading the way.
course easy good greens looks tear
I think 66 over here at Del Monte is a good round. It looks like a course you can tear it up, but it's a test. The course is not as easy as it looks. There are some greens that can give you problems.
front frustrated gotten nine par played rounds second shot
I played as well on the front nine as I've played in many, many years. I should have gotten more than 3 under par out of it. Then I got frustrated on the second nine and shot 1 over. This was one of those rounds that could have been really, really low, but I couldn't make any putts.
