We were in the locker room and we turned the TV off. It didn't really matter to us who won. They're both excellent teams. We have lost to both of them the last time out.

We were a little over anxious to play. We shot the ball well when we got shots off, but to turn it over 31 times, I don't think I've ever seen that from this team. I'm disappointed by that.
best defensive efforts excited year
We're excited to still be playing. This was one of our best defensive efforts of the year and I can't say enough about the effort they put forth.
best focus practices season weeks
Our focus around practices have been the best of the season for two weeks straight. It's been kind of nice.
balance great inside outside similar
They're similar to us in that usually if you take away the outside game, you win. Or if you take away the inside game, you win. But with them and with us, we have great balance and an inside-outside attack.

They're extremely athletic and they do a great job with their traps and presses. They are extremely aggressive and they get out in transition better than anybody in the country. And they are really well balanced. You can't just shut down one person.

You would hope there's a better balance. First and foremost for us are academics. Duke is not an easy school. It's not like we can miss so much class and have the players just bounce right back from it.

They do a great job with their traps. I know we'll be a lot better (in the future) for this game.

They do a great job with their presses, their traps. They're extremely aggressive. They get out in transition probably better than anybody in the country, and they're really well-balanced.
couple daily dominated games good lose several tested
There were several years where we really dominated and didn't lose any games for a couple of years. I don't know how good that was for us because we weren't tested on a daily basis.
final focus four headline paper regional task time tough trip winning
This is a time for celebration for our team. But there are a lot of tough things going on campus. We don't know much about it. We've been out of town. But when you come back from winning your regional and getting a trip to the Final Four and the headline in the paper is about (the lacrosse team), it's kind of tough. But we just have to focus on our task at hand.

Once we got the lead, we were still anxious. I think it took the wind out of our sails a little bit and we were a little fatigued at that point.

Once we got the lead we were anxious and we took two quick shots and then they came down the scored. We made our run and they withstood it.
