enjoying point sure
I want to make sure we still have our focus, but at the same time, we need to make sure we're enjoying this process. I don't know if we have up to this point as much as we could've.
block changes gets might people thinking
Once she gets into your head, she changes the things you want to do. She has people thinking that she might block their shot.
awkward kids stays touch transfer wished
It's not awkward to me at all. Kids transfer all the time. I know she stays in touch with some of the players. We've always just wished her the very best.
bit defense half knew lock needed pay screens second trapped
In the first half we trapped their screens a little bit and they made us pay for it. We knew we needed to lock down on defense in the second half and we did. That was really the difference.
good job missed rust second talked
In the first half, we had good energy, but we missed a little focus. I think part of that was us getting a little rust off us. In the second half, we talked about being focused, and we did a much better job with that.
knew married people privilege ready reasons time

bit entire fortunate gone good july miss missed month opportunity recruiting summer
I'm really fortunate because I'm not going to be gone that long, and I won't miss recruiting. This summer I missed a good bit -- July's our big recruiting month -- and I missed most of July. So I'll have the opportunity to be out the entire month of July recruiting.
battling dangerous fighting fights-and-fighting knew team tradition

I'm really impressed with Jefferson. She just keeps getting better and better. She's somebody who can get her own shots. She's strong, she's physical, she's athletic. She's just a tough kid.
create half impressed keeps physical several shot tapes tone tough watched
I'm really impressed with Jefferson. I've watched several tapes on them and she keeps getting better and better. She can create her own shot and she's strong, physical and athletic. She's a tough kid. She set the tone for them in the first half (against Kentucky).
chemistry eager experience great learning worked
The chemistry was incredible. It was a great learning experience for me and my staff. (The team) was eager to please, they worked hard. There were no egos.
along great laugh memories pressure
You've got to laugh at yourself, or laugh at your team. There's pressure on any team, but you have to make as many great memories as you can along the way.
except people players staying talked
All of those things are important except staying No. 1. That's not anything we've ever talked about. But the players know what's on the line. And it is Carolina, so I really don't have to say a whole lot to get people motivated.
