beautiful both draw early game tough
I don't think you're going to draw much from this game at all, it was not a beautiful game in any way. I really thought it was tough for both teams, you could see early on, to get it going.
gave guys
I don't think our young guys gave us anything.
figure hurt tried warming
When he tried to go, he hurt it warming up before the game. We're really short-handed at that position, we're going to have to try to figure out something if he's going to be out.
basketball giving good great hope keeps near team
He's a great scorer every night. It's the other things that he's done for this team that just keeps giving us hope that . . . with the things that we can add, we can be a good basketball team in the near future.
help locker people pick realize until value walks
He's going to help us. When, I don't know. It could be tonight. It could be whenever. With his size, he's going to have a value for us. You don't realize how big he is until he walks into your own locker room. He was a No. 1 pick and hasn't done what people thought he would, but I think there's still time.
benefit given great hope legs next number year
He's given us great hope and he's given us great confidence. I didn't see this out of him this year. I just thought it would take next year before he got his legs under him. Benefit number one is his health.
floor zone
He's been great. He's been in a zone on the floor, off the floor with teammates. He's just been in a zone all the way around.
early good
He's been fantastic. Early in the year, there's no way we put him on the floor. Offensively he's been pretty good all year. But now, he understands how to get his shot.
eat feeling looks talking tough
He's doing much better. He looks great. He's feeling better. He's talking more. We've got to get him to eat and all that stuff, but at 88, it would probably be tough to get me to eat, too.
coach guy loves numbers opened people trade
He was kind of a throw-in guy in the trade to make the numbers work, but he has come in here and opened my eyes. Our big-man coach loves him, loves all the little things he does. He's a banger. He's physical. We need that. He's going to make it very interesting. I think he's already making people uncomfortable.
hurting move positive team worried year
He just wasn't responding. He couldn't move out on the floor. He was hurting the team and he was hurting himself. I was worried about the confidence. At the end of the year the one thing I try to protect, especially with our young guys, is going into the (summer) with a positive feeling.
actions louder obviously speak
He's back. We had another talk. It went well, but actions obviously speak louder than words.
gets
When he gets it going like that, I don't know what you can do.
everybody great job pitch
With Wally going out, everybody had to just pitch in. Everyone did a great job of it.
