biggest might point reason won
That was a big, big point of emphasis, and I think that might be the biggest reason we won the game.
guy imagine might season shooting shot until
He has actually shot it better than we expected. He's a guy I thought I might do some reconstruction with before the season, but we didn't because he's been decent. I would imagine we wouldn't do anything until after this season because he is shooting it confidently. That's a big part of shooting.
believe chance feeling hopeful might next reason season turn
We don't have any reason to believe he's going to get to feeling any better this year. I'm only hopeful that he might have a chance to get it straightened out between this season and next season, but I don't know how that's going to turn out.
difficult might particular predict season sell sit team ways willing
I think this season in particular is really difficult to predict how things might play out in the league. Our team is as unpredictable as any team in the league. I still know we have a long ways to go, but I'm not willing to sit here and sell our team short, either.
best competing conference continue leagues might opportunity regular shame smaller team teams tournament upset won
I think that makes all the sense in the world. Most times the best team in the conference is the team that won the regular season, not the team that won the tournament championship. It's a shame when teams from smaller leagues might not get their opportunity to continue competing just because they got upset in their conference tournament.
building great itself people players playing poise proud tremendous
Not many people come in here and win. There's a great presence, and they have tremendous fans, and then the building itself is so unique. I still can't get over this setup. I'm very proud of our players for playing with poise today.
focused ncaa playing stay tangible tend
The NCAA championship is still what we're playing for. But we tend to stay focused on something a little more tangible than that . . .
beyond building coaching effort eliminate goes incredible program reasons special
It's never been done here. We have to eliminate the reasons it's never been done here. I know that we have to put an incredible effort into building the program into something special in all facets. It goes way beyond just coaching and playing.
bought conference continue doubt good knew league playing strong talent
I never had any doubt that the league would continue to be very, very strong. I said the league would be a little unpredictable, and it's playing out just that way, but I knew it'd be very strong because we have so much talent in the conference and such good coaching. I never bought into the idea that it'd be a down year.
anyone good happy personally struggle tough year
I'm very happy for him. This has been as frustrating a year for him as there could have been for anyone on our team. He hasn't had a lot to feel real good about personally because it's such a struggle for him, but he's tough and he delivered.
nice playing remember
It was nice of you to put the roster up here so I would remember who's playing for us.
basketball beating college difficult grateful perfect played poise sure teams win
It's very, very difficult to win a college basketball game, and this is a perfect example. There's no sure thing. Non-Division I teams are beating teams a lot more experienced than us. I'm just grateful that we survived. And we did a little better than survive. Down the stretch, we played with poise and were able to get the win.
certainly greatest played time urgency
We certainly played them at a time when they had the greatest sense of urgency you can have.
certainly patience
We certainly have possessions where we don't show the patience we need to have.
