closer found level points
We need to play at a level much closer to the level we have found at some points in this season.
exactly game games goes players prominent role spot
I can't exactly spot a trend. It goes game to game. Some players play a more prominent role in some games than others.
critical defense gave guys performance stumbling track win
This was a critical win for us. Our guys were hungry. We were kind of stumbling and bumbling offensively, especially in the first half. But we gave the kind of over-the-top performance on defense that got us back on track tonight.
against chance doubt florida improved loss season win
We competed very well against Florida (in a 77-66 loss on Wednesday) and were right there with a chance to win at the end. We have improved a lot this season -- there's no doubt about it.
advance against carolina days pension south team
We want to use the two days to get better. I know we made some advance in how we competed as a team against Tennessee. South Carolina has a pension for trapping and pressing and they are very athletic.
holding inside problem throwing
The No. 1 thing is we are not throwing it in there enough. That's the No. 1 problem that is holding back inside production.
beating easy kentucky talk
That's something we talk about. But beating Kentucky is no easy task.
nice playing remember
It was nice of you to put the roster up here so I would remember who's playing for us.
basketball beating college difficult grateful perfect played poise sure teams win
It's very, very difficult to win a college basketball game, and this is a perfect example. There's no sure thing. Non-Division I teams are beating teams a lot more experienced than us. I'm just grateful that we survived. And we did a little better than survive. Down the stretch, we played with poise and were able to get the win.
everybody team
That makes everybody on our team feel better.
needed
I told him I didn't think he needed to.
best
We'd like to be the best in the country. We'd like that to be one of our strengths.
defense played tenacity
We struggled, and I thought Kentucky's tenacity on defense had a lot to do with it. They were swarming and really played physical. I thought their defense impacted us in a big way.
fantastic hat noah tip
I tip my hat to him. Noah was just fantastic tonight.
