catch certainly coach full lost napping ready relaxed wish
It is a coincidence that I don't enjoy. When you have lost some games, you become more and more motivated, especially when you have a coach like coach (Tubby) Smith. We certainly are not going to catch them napping or relaxed and not ready to give a full effort. I wish it weren't the case.
comparison
Yeah, I'd say there's no comparison in athleticism.
believe chance feeling hopeful might next reason season turn
We don't have any reason to believe he's going to get to feeling any better this year. I'm only hopeful that he might have a chance to get it straightened out between this season and next season, but I don't know how that's going to turn out.
catch good great sure
They're good anyway. You sure don't want to catch them on a great night.
biggest might point reason won
That was a big, big point of emphasis, and I think that might be the biggest reason we won the game.
defend motion movement pieces stronger together year
They do all the same things they've always done. They play really hard, they defend really hard. They play together and they have a lot of movement in their motion offense. They have some new pieces this year that are making them a much stronger team.
anyone best playing simply
They are simply loaded. They are playing the best of anyone in the country.
career college forward impact looking start team turn
This is a disappointing turn of events. It is disappointing for the team because we were really looking forward to the impact Kendrick would have made this season. It is also disappointing for Kendrick to have to start his college career this way.
aggressive dropping guard guys kept point reminded score sharing
I reminded him that he would be able to score if he just kept being aggressive and sharing the ball. We need our point guard to do that. The guys all said how much they appreciated all those dimes he was dropping out there.
difficult might particular predict season sell sit team ways willing
I think this season in particular is really difficult to predict how things might play out in the league. Our team is as unpredictable as any team in the league. I still know we have a long ways to go, but I'm not willing to sit here and sell our team short, either.
best competing conference continue leagues might opportunity regular shame smaller team teams tournament upset won
I think that makes all the sense in the world. Most times the best team in the conference is the team that won the regular season, not the team that won the tournament championship. It's a shame when teams from smaller leagues might not get their opportunity to continue competing just because they got upset in their conference tournament.
chance discomfort improved pain playing whether
Going into this year, I thought he was going to be one of our most improved players, and I still feel that way. He just doesn't have a chance to show it because he's been playing in pain all season. He's in discomfort all the time, whether he's playing or not.
allow bigger choice developing good learn mistakes picture understanding younger
If that's what you have, you have no choice but to live with them. When you're developing like us, and you have good younger players, you allow them to play through those mistakes for the bigger picture to allow them to learn through those experiences, to develop their understanding of the game.
attitude best forward great healthy minus move next strong
He has a great attitude about getting healthy and strong for next season, and we are going to do our best to move forward minus his contributions.
