closing door football nfl options ruling
I'm not ruling anything out, and my mind-set has not changed, it's the timing, ... I'm going to keep my football options open. NFL or college, I'm really not closing the door on anything.
ask brought carry glad locker nice players room start stays tradition
I'm glad they didn't ask me to carry that thing in. But this a nice little tradition to start and it stays with us for a year. The players brought it into the locker room and it is a nice honor.
believe biggest bounce honest
I'm Tyler's biggest supporter. He's our guy. I believe in him and he'll bounce back this week, but we've got to be honest about things,
roller talked
It's what we've talked about for two months; it's a roller coaster, things go up and down,
quick screen turn
The big play to turn it around was the quick screen to Greg Lee,
adjustment amount biggest bit defense difference finding happy kids knowledge limited medium might opposed players practice time week
The biggest adjustment is the time-management part, the limited amount of time you have with the kids as opposed to the pros, ... Every week it's a new challenge. It doesn't make any difference how much knowledge I might have about the defense ... it comes down to what our players can practice and comprehend. accept believe coach decision easy falls head might personal proper somebody time
As you might imagine, this was not a very easy decision from a personal standpoint, but I believe it is a proper decision at this time for being a professional. Somebody has to accept the responsibility. I am the head coach and that falls on me.
blitz blocked chance good guys job level matter mystery newspapers reading ready stop third win
They blocked us, there's no mystery in that. I didn't do a good enough job of getting these guys ready ? they must have been reading the newspapers too much and that's my fault. We've got to get better ? if you can't stop the run, you've got no chance to win no matter the level and we've got to get that done. We wanted to blitz them, but we could never get them to third down.

catch football team tough
Do I like the excitement? Sure. It's getting our football team to catch up with the excitement, and that's tough to do.
beginning dame game journey
The Notre Dame game is a big one, but it is really just the beginning of a long journey for us.
chance encouraged gives good looked offense overall
The offense overall looked good. There was good protection, no turnovers and no fumbles. I was encouraged by the way they looked today. Getting those little things right gives you the chance to win.
group position solid talented tight top
That's probably as talented a position as we've got on the team. That tight end group is pretty solid from top to bottom.
