old-school guy trying
I'm an old-school guy. I don't try to be too flashy.
group power trying
I think the power play is trying to do too much. It's been like that a while and I think as a group we need to communicate better.
fun great next playoffs ready sharp trying year
It's nice. We've had a fun year and we've got a great team. I'm just trying to be sharp and get ready for the playoffs next week.
game simple time trying
The first time we got spanked pretty good. We were trying to play a simple game once we got the lead.
drop florida forget game lost tough
We lost a tough one in Florida and we wanted to forget that. We have been able to forget them. We're going to drop a game now and then.
basically last reason talk talked
I've talked a lot about it for the last two years. I've basically said everything there is to say. That's the reason I don't feel that I need to talk about it anymore.
excitement fans great start supported
It was all excitement today. The fans were loud. We've got great fans who have supported me and have supported us through this whole thing. It was more excitement than anything at the start of the game.
great players
There's so many great players on this team.
canadian expected game pressure tough
Every game is a tough game here. There is always pressure when you put on a Canadian jersey. You are expected to win.
bit coming guys ice played respect road room seemed tired
You have to respect those guys when they are on the ice and not give them too much room and we did that well tonight. They seemed a little bit tired coming off a big road trip, but we played well.
against career fun guy level shooting sure tough
You look at his career and what he's done, it's pretty unbelievable. Shooting against him every day has been a lot of fun for me, and he's going to be tough over there. I think he's a guy who can take it to another level, and I'm sure he'll be at that level in the Olympics.
beat great team win
We have a great team and feel we can win every game. When we do lose, that shouldn't happen. It's like we can only beat ourselves.
felt hard worked
I worked hard and I just felt that I could come back from everything. There was never a doubt.
almost anybody concern fun good knows looks maybe played stuff style takes variation watching year
I think he'll be good for us. Just watching him, he knows what it takes for him to get ready. I've been watching him do his drills and stuff and it's fun to watch. He's a different style of goalie and has his own style. It's not really one thing. He knows a lot of shooters and he'll play a little variation of everything. It's almost maybe better for him to have that year to get ready. He looks good with us and played well (in camp). I don't think anybody has a concern about him at all.
