We knew the scouting report on him and I did the exact same thing that they told us not to do. It's tough to get it up when you're reaching and you've got your arms extended, but I thought I could still sneak it in and he made a good save.

We're not intimidated by them. We're out to get as many points against them as possible.

We had some segments of the game where we played really well and then we let up for a shift or two. Ten goals in two games, we're not playing the way we can defensively.

It's a great feeling definitely to do it here but in regards to playing those guys, I'm just happy we got the win.
groove moving skating supporting three
We were in a rut. We've just got to play our game, get back to the way we were. We're skating now, moving our feet. All three of us are back in the groove now. We're supporting each other well.
country hockey play
Every country gets fired up to play us. They played well. I thought when it was 2-1 that we had some chances to make it 3, 4-1. He made some saves and we just missed some shots. They got a break on their second, and the third period I thought we had a lot of chances, he made some big saves. We got it done in the shootout.
schedules way tough
Everybody is going through the same thing. The way the schedule is, it's tough down the stretch.
thinking too-much behind-you
I wasn't putting too much emphasis on it (the booing). I think that you have to put it behind you.
loss winning games
The first game was different but tonight we were just worried about getting ourselves back on track. It's another loss. We've got to keep going, keep trying to get out of this and win on Saturday.

With the year off, I think most guys were excited to get going, but coming to Ottawa, a new place, made me even more excited.
