I didn't do much, started practicing a little bit the last few weeks, but didn't really play that much at all. That made it really good to come out here and be refreshed and stay patient during my round.

It was a great group. They hit some good shots and we just had a good time. The fans were great. ... Everybody knows what's going on, so they are quiet whenever I'm hitting and then whenever the others are hitting or entertaining (the fans), it can get loud at times.

It was a great group. They are all really good guys and I enjoyed it. We had a good time out there.
four goal good hopefully leading special tournament
It's special to be leading after two rounds. Obviously, my goal is to be leading after four rounds, but it's a good start, and hopefully I'll have a good weekend. This is a special tournament and a special place.

It's just nice to see the wind calm down a little bit so you can make a few birdies out there. It was a little bit easier today to hit the fairways and get it closer to the hole. Obviously, it was a good day. Anytime you shoot a 62 is a great day. It was nice -- me and David just kind of fed off each other all day. He played great and I was able to kind of follow in his footsteps.
compete good majors start
I want to compete more in the majors and I haven't done that but I have got off to a good start this year.
good lead standing tee
When you've got a 3-up lead through 10, that's a pretty good lead. Standing on the 13th tee only being 1 up, you're pretty disappointed.
angles drives good hit missing side
There's a lot of good drives I hit that end up in the rough, and that's kind of the way it is. As long as you're missing on the right side and have angles to the pin, you can manage.

I always had a good rapport with the kids. Being young, I think I bring a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of dedication and energy to a program that really needs some.

I don't know if there is a safe lead. You can have some guys playing Bermuda Dunes, I think that's the easiest course and you can shoot some good scores out there.

I'm definitely excited. It's where I want to be. It's special to be leading after two rounds. It's a good start. I like where I'm at. We've got a lot of golf left. Hopefully I'll have a good weekend.

It was a little chilly out there. I didn't play well, but it could have been worse. It's playing pretty long. The balls weren't going very far.
