call certain might move pain slight step swinging wrist
Obviously, if I move my wrist in a certain direction, I might feel a slight pain. But the way I'm swinging the bat, there's no pain there right now. I'll call that a step forward.
attention bags happen holding paying pitchers runners slide step
That's a lot of bags. That will never happen again. Pitchers are holding runners on way better. They're paying a lot of attention to us with slide step and all. I don't think anybody's going to get 100 bags (in a season) again.
coaches feeling step
I called it a step (in the right direction). When I was hitting. and the coaches were pitching, I was feeling no pain.
hopefully worry
We just want to go out and play baseball. We don't want to have to worry about this kind of thing. Hopefully that's the end of it on the field.
football guy motivates point
I understood. He got the point across, ... But that's OK. I'm a football guy. I'm used to a guy being up in my face. It motivates me. I don't take it personally.
fun
Everything is still positive. Everybody's still having fun.
groove positive season seems start time
Everything seems so positive around here. You want to see where this new positive way will take us. It's time to get back in the groove so we can start this season off with a bang.
beat kindness matter miss team
The thing about this team is that no matter who's in the lineup, this is the kind of team that's not going to miss a beat offensively.
ask funny
Baseball's funny like that. Don't ask me how something like that happens.
fresh good hard job last remember vibes
You feel so many good vibes around here now. It's so fresh that it's hard to believe, but they are doing a good job getting the vibe out of last year. By the end of the year, we won't remember those old days.
act cry era selfish worried
(Washburn) shouldn't cry about it; he should take it for what it is. Do it the right way, ... He got the win, and that's the only thing he should be worried about. That's a selfish act to be worried about his ERA after he's already got the win.
few guys needs team whatever
We've got some power, we've got some speed. We've got a few guys who can do whatever the team needs situation-wise.
bigger mind win
We have bigger things on our mind than just Boston. We want to win some games.
fun good player
That would be a good thing for this organization. It would give us some kind of identity. It would be exciting. He's a fun player with a lot of energy.
