earn fair field point realize respect time
We realize that the respect that the Americans have at this point in time is small. Everything we earn, we have to earn on the field and that's fair enough.
amount players realize realizing settle time
You always need to be patient, realizing the amount of time off these players have had. The expectations can't be too great. We realize it's going to take some time to settle in.
best camp critical domestic eagerly february forward games january job months next position possible seeing six successful team towards view
We eagerly look forward to seeing our domestic players. We want to do the best job we can of making the roster as competitive as possible over the next six months so we can position our team to be successful in the World Cup. We view this camp and the games in January and February as critical towards our preparation for Germany.
beat deserved matter playing tonight usa
We got beat and we deserved to get beat. This was the USA playing tonight ? it doesn't matter who we were missing.

We got beat and we deserved to get beat.
continue dominant hopefully number performance players team tonight
That was a dominant performance by our team tonight; I'm very pleased. A number of players tonight made statements; hopefully they'll continue to make statements.
actual attitudes case commitment conditions cup demand discipline eligible maintain next physical players range seen time wide
For the first time ever, we are going to demand players have the discipline and commitment to actually maintain fitness. We have seen a wide range of attitudes and actual physical conditions with MLS players in the past, and if that is the case next time around they're not going to be eligible to make the World Cup roster.
good italy somewhat venue
For our players, it's also very good for them to be in a venue where they also get to play Italy and feel somewhat comfortable in this venue before we actually come back.
cup honest onto played players themselves
I don't think too many players played themselves onto our World Cup roster tonight, to be honest with you.
cup good onto others played players themselves
I don't think too many players played themselves onto a World Cup roster tonight. There were some good performances for some, others were not so good.
case cup okay others played players solid strong themselves variety
I don't think too many players played themselves on our World Cup roster tonight. There were some solid performances, but nothing that would make a strong case for a variety of players. It was okay for some players, others not too good.
basically challenge deal everybody known lesser particular rather written
I'd much rather have this challenge than having to deal with lesser known countries. The challenge we have in particular ... everybody has basically written us off.
based decisions evaluate fact good group liked move played players point road rule three
These are just opportunities to evaluate players as we move forward, but you don't make decisions based on one game. Generally, as a rule of thumb, if you get a point on the road in qualifying, it's a pretty good result. The fact that we played with a new group this game, the result's OK. Would we have liked three points? Sure. But that's the way it is.
players
All in all, to get 16 players in, and getting a win, that's a positive.
