accustomed division ebb flow freshmen game hockey pace played prepared time
We should be better prepared this time around. We've got 21 freshmen that have played two-thirds of a Division I hockey season. They're more accustomed with the pace of the game and the ebb and flow of the game.
best came extremely heart played point reflected second several time
We had a lot of heart and toughness. That was probably reflected best in the second time we played several teams, we came back and played extremely well to the point of even winning.
easier extra motivation next opponents time
We want opponents to know we are going to put up a fight. Unfortunately, we made it a little easier for Maine. We should have extra motivation the next time out.
beat carry extra game helped last losing motivation played solid team time top
They had a little extra motivation to beat us after losing to us the last time out. It helped carry them. All in all, a top team played a solid game and got the better of us.
against brown capitalize couple game goals hard harvard last period putting reward second third time work
I think the third period was our reward. We went through a time there, with the second game against BC, the game against Brown and last week's game against Harvard where we were putting in the hard work with no reward. The third was our reward and we were able to capitalize and put a couple goals in.
attack compete darn goals played quick seven strong time
The first time we played them, their attack was pretty darn effective. They scored seven goals and made it look pretty easy. We didn't play smart, strong or quick enough to compete with them.
few missed offensive power quite second several sound
We missed on a few offensive opportunities in the second as well as several power play opportunities. We could have come away with it, but we weren't quite as sound as they were.
advantage against couple early fought lead nice
It would be nice if we could come out and get the lead early. We've fought back a couple of times against this team, but if we can get that advantage early we can play a better game.
bunch loose situation snapped
It was another situation where we got to a bunch of loose pucks. She got it and snapped it into the net.
credit intimidate offense period recreate second
The second period is a credit to Harvard. They can intimidate you with their speed, and we had to recreate a lot of offense for ourselves.
confidence far game good rhythm season wonderful
The shutout was good for her confidence. She has had a wonderful season so far and it got her back into game rhythm after a long break.
best bit credit defense reasons
Our defense was a little bit of a problem, but it is a credit to them. UNH is quick, and that is one of the reasons why they are the best in the nation.
fall forget freshmen jack older parker people reliance strong tired
People forget that we are predominantly an all-freshman team. When Jack Parker or Dennis Wolff's freshmen get tired they can fall back on their older players. I don't have a strong reliance on upperclassmen.
brown excellence excited good national standing team tradition
Brown has a long standing tradition of excellence. They are a well-coached team and a national power. We are excited for another good test.
