accustomed division ebb flow freshmen game hockey pace played prepared time
We should be better prepared this time around. We've got 21 freshmen that have played two-thirds of a Division I hockey season. They're more accustomed with the pace of the game and the ebb and flow of the game.
best came extremely heart played point reflected second several time
We had a lot of heart and toughness. That was probably reflected best in the second time we played several teams, we came back and played extremely well to the point of even winning.
coming fast game locker loose nervous played
We could have played with more confidence. We were a little nervous coming into this game and there was a little uncertainty in our locker room. BC, meanwhile, played fast and loose hockey.
extra few huge impact played saves team
She played tremendous. She has a huge impact on our team. With a team like ours, sometimes we need a few extra saves and she did that for us tonight.
came hit hitting instead late open played post puck save unnoticed
She played great. There was one play that I think went a little unnoticed where, late in the game, she made a save where she just tipped a puck and it hit off the post instead of hitting an open net, and it was little things like that where she came up big for us tonight.
carry collect played seem tempo
We did not play very well tonight. We were a little tentative and Quinnipiac played with a lot of tempo and a lot of pace. We didn't really carry play tonight. A lot is gauged by how well we collect passes, and we didn't seem to collect pucks tonight.
both came flat good offensive played teams
For a low-scoring game, both teams had a lot of offensive opportunities. We came out flat which was kind of disappointing, but then we played two very good periods.
biggest played providence slowness sound
The biggest disappointment was our slowness in the first period. We did not play with continuity, while Providence played sound defensively.
credit exciting games heart kid locker obviously played room
It's a credit that we made games exciting into February. It's a credit to every kid in that locker room that played their heart out and played tremendous, but it obviously bodes well for the future.
beat carry extra game helped last losing motivation played solid team time top
They had a little extra motivation to beat us after losing to us the last time out. It helped carry them. All in all, a top team played a solid game and got the better of us.
game good organized played structured
They are a well-established team. We are not at their level, but I thought we played an organized and structured game with good energy.
chances few good laurel played score
Laurel Koller and Genevieve Laing got a few chances to score but didn't get them in. Caitlin Reddy also played a good game.
extremely good offensive overall played plenty solid
Overall I think we played extremely hard. We had plenty of offensive opportunities. I think Northeastern, while they played a solid game, they had some good fortune.
attack compete darn goals played quick seven strong time
The first time we played them, their attack was pretty darn effective. They scored seven goals and made it look pretty easy. We didn't play smart, strong or quick enough to compete with them.
