add anybody ask bring brought guys hopefully hugh locker lost replace room year
When you replace a Jeremiah a year ago and try to replace Hugh this year, we would never ask those guys to be those players. We just ask them to bring what they bring to the table, and hopefully it'll add to what we already have. But I would never say anybody could replace what we lost in Hugh. No one person could ever do that for us. Because what he brought wasn't just on the field, but in the locker room also.
definitely expect game gets
We definitely expect when he gets in a game for him to make a play. We expect those things from him now.
definitely depend dude guy miss pass rush stopping strong
We definitely miss him. He's a guy we depend on for pass rush and stopping the run. He's a big, huge, strong dude in the middle.
weapons
They have some weapons over there, ... We're going to have to come and play. And I think we know that.
advantage against came last none special took tried work
That's just one of those things that happen. They came out different (against the Giants) than they did last week. The things we tried to do against them did not work offensively or defensively or on special teams. None of us were able to get anything going, and they took advantage of it.
cares player shows type
That shows you not just what type of player he is, but really how much he cares about us as a team.
game rest
That game is over with. We have to get on with the rest of the season.
couple curl dig feels hand honest respect route routes runs speed throws time worries
You respect what he does and his speed and you have to play honest because of his speed, but there is nothing that really worries me. He runs the same routes. It's a go route and he throws his hand up if he feels he has you beat, which most of the time he feels he has you beat. They run a couple of dig routes and curl routes to keep you honest. It's the same thing.
defense everybody good guys job offense
You want the opposing offense to look at your defense and see everybody going to the ball. I thought we did a pretty good job of that today. We had guys making plays, and that's what you want from your defense.
couple number team time turn
You say a team has somebody's number. Well, I think they've had our number for a couple of years. They really have. It's time to turn that around. Big time.
filter given happened opinions saw starts
You saw what happened this year. It can happen. It starts to filter through. Different opinions are given out, and things happen that shouldn't happen.
breath definitely fans game hold hopefully past point
You're definitely going to have fans who hold their breath if we get to that point again, ... Because we've been in the NFC Championship Game two years in a row. Hopefully we can get past it this time.
against consistent game gave instead letting mental mistakes plays point pressure step teams trying
There were a lot of things. We were not able to get that consistent pressure that we wanted to get; teams have been doing different things against us and we have not made plays either. We have made mental mistakes and I think it got to a point where we were trying to do things instead of letting the game come to us. We were trying to step up and make a play and then we gave up a play.
anybody lightly team
There is no way in the world that anybody would take this team lightly at all.
