belts best defense guys last played trying year
It really does. All the new guys that have played last year have a year under their belts and I think we are trying to take this thing to another level. We are trying to be one of the best, if not the best defense to play for this organization.
certain feels game given hit took
It's nothing that's going to get me out of my game. My game is a certain way all the time. It's not going to make me try to hit you any harder, because I'm going to do that anyway. I took it as him being who he is, and he feels like he can make a play at any given time.
best bit both circumstance count everybody felt guy regardless side sides situation
It still stings a little bit regardless of the circumstances of him not being here. You still would like to have that guy on your side because you can count on him. From all reports, everybody in the organization and on both sides of the situation felt that this was the best thing to do. So they did it and you have to live and keep on playing.
engine
This'll be one of our main-line trucks. We only have one engine and two tankers right now.
weapons
They have some weapons over there, ... We're going to have to come and play. And I think we know that.
guys surprise
It was as big of a surprise to you guys as it was for us that it went down like that.
defensive definitely excited game given guys happen hooking knowing love player receiver type waiting
That's something special, to have the type of quarterback that Donovan is and to have the type or receiver that Terrell is. For those guys to keep hooking up game after game, and to go into every game knowing that is potentially a touchdown waiting to happen at any given point, as a defensive player you love that. I'm definitely excited for those guys and the way they've been able to click.
again climb confidence hard mountain people pushed regular season training
That's the hard part that people don't realize. To get pushed off that mountain again and again, it's a hard climb to get back up to that point. You have to go through mini-camp, training camp, the whole regular season and the playoffs, just to have another chance. We've got confidence that we can get it done, but it's rough. It's a hard climb. A very hard climb.
unit
We're more of a unit this season; that's why we're better,
ball defense far figured knew less likely run throw
We knew they were going to try and run the ball. That was no secret. We knew they don't throw the ball down the field. And with the defense we run as far as the blitzing package, it makes them even less likely to go down field. We kind of figured what they were thinking.

hard ourselves takes winning
We know what it takes to get ourselves back on the winning side. It takes hard work.
ground harder hit starting
We know we have to hit the ground running. We're starting off with St. Louis, and you can't get harder than that.
kept looked people stopped
We stopped the run, we stopped the pass, we kept people out of the end zone, ... but yet we still get looked down upon.
