Brockman has passed our expectations. He can defend and score. He's stepped in there and done the job.
Practices are like they were in January. He's definitely stepped it up a lot more. We're not going to the tournament just happy to be there. We're past that level.
He's labeled as a freshman, but we don't look at him as a freshman anymore. He's not afraid. The kid's a warrior. When he hit that shot, came back and knocked his free throw down, that really made us feel like we had a chance to win this game. He stepped up big time.
I knew tonight ASU was going to be tough and the guys were going to need me.
I knew Rogers was a little smaller than me so I knew he couldn't block my shot. It was just a blessing that it went in.
I'm just upset and disappointed in myself that I left them hanging for seven minutes (while I was on the bench). I feel like I let the young guys down.
Everyone's a Gonzaga now. Everyone has a chance to beat us.
They just dominated us in the second half.
I'm not going to try and intimidate this guy. I thought maybe he had been in the Marines or overseas.
I'm fine with it. I'm just happy we finished out with a bang.
I'm a big fan of Dee Brown. He's the heart and soul of that team and he's the first guy we've got to stop.
I'm just happy we are in the race for the Pac-10 title again.
I'm just enjoying every moment of this. I feel I'm having a pretty good senior season.
I'm excited about it. Besides our home crowd, I've been pretty disappointed everywhere we went. I look forward to it being a high-level, high-energy game. That's part of college basketball. That's part of the experience.
