Last year, with a No. 1 seed, we might have gotten a little relaxed. Now everybody's hungry. I think we have more fight.
Mike stretches the defense out so much. Late in the game I started getting fouled a lot because I started penetrating the middle and guys didn't know whether to help or not because Mike had hit six or seven threes.
Mike just stretched the defense out and it created more opportunities for me to drive. He came out so aggressive.
I'm a little shocked that their record doesn't show how good they are.
If I played on the East Coast, I think I would be a household name. But on the West Coast I'm a household name, so that's good enough for me.
I feel like I let the young guys down.
I feel terrible for him. They were having a real good season, and he was a huge part of it. I always enjoy playing against USC at its best.
When we won here, Salim Stoudamire didn't play. To take him out of the equation is doing a lot. Last year, he played and we didn't win.
It's a special feeling. A lot of people wouldn't have guessed we would make it this far.
It's fun playing Oregon. It's an up-tempo game. Hopefully, we'll make some shots.
It's pretty cool. It's like everybody knew it was going to happen, so they were scheduled to play at the end.
They get up to play us. I don't know if they can beat Oregon, but if they got us in the first round, maybe. ... It's their ability to get us to play their style of basketball. We can't play at that pace. ... If you ask me if the Cougars are a last-place team, I'd say no.
This means a lot. This is my last go-around. I don't want to go out a loser. I want to go to the NCAA tournament. We could be the first UW team to go three times in a row since I don't know when. So this is all stuff I want to be part of.
There's a lot of good teams on that 32-game home win streak. Another one came in here and took it from us. It's the only way it should end.
