I knew tonight ASU was going to be tough and the guys were going to need me.
It's a matter of how much they accept him. I can't see him coming up here, I think it would be tough for him to show his face. If I did that to an Oregon player and walked into their gym in the summer, people would wonder what I was doing there.
Arizona State has some bruisers on their team and they neutralized him a little bit. But Arizona, we don't think they are as tough on the inside and we think Jon could have a big performance. We are looking forward to him just banging in there and being relentless, and eventually we think he can wear on them.
They were a tough team, you might not be able to tell from the stands, but out there, they were really physical.
What makes it hard for us is that we're used to playing a fast-paced game and they're used to slowing it down. When we play each other it's a really awkward game. It's a battle of who imposes their game plan on the other one. They're a tough team to play against. You never look forward to playing them.
He's the key to their team. If he can't get going, it'll be a tough night for everybody.
When I was dreaming, this is exactly what I dreamed about, but it's tough to accomplish these things.
Jon is a bruiser, and Arizona has some bruisers. But, Arizona, I don't feel like they're that tough inside. We think Jon is going to have a great game.
Jon, he is just a bruiser. Arizona, we don't think they're that tough on the inside. Jon's going to have a big game inside, we think.
We've been getting blown out here all three years since I've been here, even in the win. This has been a tough place to play.
I knew Rogers was a little smaller than me so I knew he couldn't block my shot. It was just a blessing that it went in.
I'm just upset and disappointed in myself that I left them hanging for seven minutes (while I was on the bench). I feel like I let the young guys down.
Everyone's a Gonzaga now. Everyone has a chance to beat us.
They just dominated us in the second half.
