We've changed throughout preseason. I feel like we're continuing to look at different combinations and see what works and we need that type of flexibility as we through the season. We still have a ways to go. For me, it's still good to see guys moving themselves forward. There's a group that's doing pretty well.

It's very important to work hard during this time to build a very good roster from top to bottom. We have a big group of players in. There are some that we will quickly let go and we will bring others in and try to use this time to look at different possibilities for how to improve our roster.

When I talk about the mentality and how we play and how we're organized, all of that has to work so that now in the midfield we are harder to play against. I've always felt that you try in MLS to find a balance. You need young talent. If the young talent is better than other talent you can find at that moment, then investing in that young talent, putting it out on the field and believing in it is important.

But we also recognize that becoming a good team is hard work and you learn to deal with things that go against you, whether it's a game that goes against you or calls at key moments because you have to be able to deal with the things that don't go your way in order to become very good.
