becoming coaches dream head league problem stand within work
I would never stand in the way of any of our coaches if they have a dream of becoming a head coach. We'll work within the league structure. ... I have no problem with that.
bowl grateful mean patient seasons super
I would like nothing more than to be able to give Mr. Rooney the Super Bowl trophy. It would mean the world to me. He's been patient with me after we've had seasons where we didn't make the playoffs, and I'll always be grateful to him for that.
air closed
I would like to have it closed with the air conditioner on. Somehow, I don't think they will do that.
game gotten last legitimate question second wish
Why was he not in the game in the last series? ... That's a legitimate question ... I wish I would have gotten him in the game in the second half.
guys last
Like I told our guys - this has nothing to do with last year.
discussion focus gone inspiring opportunity process questions week
I will tell the players, as I've told the coaches, there will be no more questions about it, there will be no more discussion about it, our focus this week will be on the Indianapolis Colts. I don't think it will be a distraction at all and, having gone through the process myself, if anything it's inspiring to know there's an opportunity potentially for you.
enter football last looking opportunity people playoffs pressure season single team trying week win
I think pressure is everything. When people get in the playoffs, there's pressure to win. It's win or go home. I don't feel any more this week than I did last week or the week before. It's one and done if you don't play well. We're looking at this week no different than last week. We're just trying to win a football game. If we do, we have an opportunity to go on, and if not, our season is done. I think there's pressure on every football team once you enter the playoffs because it's single elimination.
charlie cleveland good
I think Cleveland right now, with what they're doing with Romeo, and I think they have a good young quarterback with Charlie Frye, I think they're an up-and-coming team. I think it's a good division.
answered doubt early hitting north parker pile questions run season willie
I think, if you look at him early in the season to where you see him now, there is no question. The one thing you see, when he makes a decision, he is going north and south; you see him hitting the pile and going forward. I know there were questions as to can Willie Parker run inside. I think he has answered a lot of that doubt through the year.
football guys player seems stands together tremendous void
I think he's going to be one of those guys where the day comes and he's not there, there's going to be a void there because it seems like he's always been there every week. We've been through a lot together and I have a tremendous appreciation, more than I can express, for what he stands for as a football player but, more so, for what he stands for as a person.
certainly encouraged integral
I think he'll be fine. Certainly he's an integral part of what we want to do. I'm very encouraged by his situation.
answer earned guess handle indeed opportunity rather time
I think he's earned this opportunity if indeed Jerome can't go, ... I'm not concerned, I'm rather excited. Can he handle the load? Has he done it before? I can't answer those questions. I guess time will tell.
game last point time wins
I think he has more wins than I do. He had the last one. The last game was kind of a big game. He was a junior, and I was a senior. We lost, 6-0, on a kickoff return. I was not on the kickoff-coverage team, I do point that out, the only time I was not on the field.
last worn
I think he was worn out by the end of last year.
