brilliant extremely fact good prepared run stuff team
We've run into a team that is extremely well prepared and very capable. This isn't so much a fact that we're not any good, it's more about the fact that, hey, they're pretty brilliant right now. This is good stuff that they're doing.
chance finish good surprises unexpected wonderful
We did feel that there was a good chance he would have to be replaced. It was completely unexpected that he would be able to finish the game. It's one of those wonderful surprises that, every once in while, comes along.

We don't have any expectations. Other people see us as No. 1 or whatever, and that's their opinion. The question is: Will the players fall victim to trying to live up to it? beside easter guess happy hitting separated timely
Timely hitting was the only thing that separated these two teams. I guess beside that, I'm a happy little Easter bunny.
foot national title won
When we won our first national title at Cal-State Fullerton in 1979, it wasn't even filmed. You can't find a foot of film of that game.
break easy great performance quality saw sustaining takes team
They're really a quality a team and it isn't that easy to break them. What you saw was a championship-type performance on their part. That (fifth) inning was a great inning for them. Sustaining that inning for as long as they did takes a lot of talent.
hard higher risk work
There's a much higher risk factor. You better work hard to be the best, so you can survive.
disrespect hurt stanford
That's going to hurt things like this. If we do play away from home, it probably won't be here. It'll probably be Stanford or something like that, and that's no disrespect whatsoever.
