deed fit flower full held holy juice lotus love placed render sweet tear wash worthy
Render every thought into a flower worthy to be held in His Fingers; render every deed into a fruit, full of the sweet juice of Love fit to be placed in His Hand; render every tear holy and pure, fit to wash His Lotus Feet.
along calf mind placed run thee thy water
About thee (my husband) I have placed the overpowering (plant), upon thee placed the very overpowering one. May thy mind run after me as a calf after the cow, as water along its course!
beings call carries existing full highest jar placed time
A full jar has been placed upon Time; him, verily, we see existing in many forms. He carries away all these beings (worlds); they call him Time in the highest heaven.
anxiety conquered conquering guru hand hunger perfect placed thirst totally
My hunger has departed, my thirst has totally departed, and all my anxiety is forgotten. The Perfect Guru has placed His Hand upon my forehead; conquering my mind, I have conquered the whole world.
dishonor disturb embraced excite forehead honor lord love misfortune placed wealth
Honor and dishonor are the same to me; I have placed my forehead upon the Guru's Feet. Wealth does not excite me, and misfortune does not disturb me; I have embraced love for my Lord and Master.
across art beyond captive haunts shall thee thou whether
Whether thou art beyond the haunts of men, or whether across the river, this very herb, as if a captive bound, shall bring, thee back to me!
accomplish acquired assigned divinity formidable fulfill habitat human less man merit past task time within
What little man has to accomplish must be done quickly, at the place that is assigned to him and within the time that is allotted to him. And, man has such a formidable task before him; it is to fulfill it that he has come as man, exchanging for this human habitat all the merit he has acquired during many past lives. The task is no less than the manifestation of the Divinity latent in man.
clash engage follow friction ideals mutual ourselves scholars society therefore thoughts understanding unity virtuous
Unity can only come when there is better co-ordination and mutual understanding in the society; when there is no friction of thoughts and clash of ideologies. We should therefore follow the ideals established by the scholars and engage ourselves in virtuous deeds.
inside scatter seeds surface
WHEN you scatter seeds on the surface of the soil, they do not germinate; you have to keep them inside the soil.
benevolent enjoys happiness liberal
The one, who is benevolent and liberal enjoys peace, happiness and prosperity.
destroys dwelling lord perfect poison pure rid
The Perfect Lord is All-pervading everywhere; He destroys the poison of Maya. I am rid of the three-phased Maya, dwelling in the Pure Lord.
acted pit worship
Worship is more for effect, a play acted with the pit in view; there is no sincerity.
drain elevate gain habit learn lower turn words
WORDS can confer strength; they can drain it off; Words can gain friends; they can turn them into enemies; words can elevate or lower the individual. One must learn the habit of making one's words sweet, soft, and pleasant.
brings constant few good name perfect shall wealth
Very few are those perfect ones who do this good deed. The wealth of the Lord's Name is inexhaustible; it shall never be exhausted. In this world, it brings a constant peace, and at the Lord's Gate, it brings honor.
