Annika Sörenstam; born 9 October 1970) is a retired Swedish professional golfer, one of the most successful female golfers in history. Before stepping away from competitive golf at the end of the 2008 season, she had won 90 international tournaments as a professional, making her the female golfer with the most wins to her name. My front 9 was not very pretty. I hit some great iron shots, but my tee shots were not that great.
On the first tee I kept telling myself, "Trust yourself, you can do it."
It was a wonderful finish. It wasn't the world's best tee shot, but then I got the ball on the green and rolled in the putt.
We stood on the tee and I told Suzann, 'We can turn this around and be 1-up,' ... After that, it seems like we took air out of the team.

I just hope I make my tee time. It seems like there's a lot to do. I have to take out the trash and get the phone and all that, and all of a sudden I have to rush to the course, which is what happened this morning.
Yesterday, I couldn't feel comfortable over the putter, I thought the greens were very bumpy. Today, I had a tee time about an hour and 15 minutes earlier. The conditions were a lot better, less people walking around on the greens. I think that was important for me because I started to roll in some putts and I felt a lot better.
I think it's very tricky, ... There are so many different bounces you can get on the fairways, on the greens and everywhere, really. It's not playing long, but it's really tricky. The greens are a little roughed up, so I'm looking forward to a morning tee time.
I'm very competitive. I'd do anything to beat them all.
I know the young ones are going to take over eventually, there is no doubt about it. I love the position I'm in, and I'm not going to let it go too easily.
I know where I'm at on the money list. I'm here to reach my own goals, play my own game.
I'm looking forward to returning to Hamilton Farm to try to improve on last year's performance. A match-play event brings great variety to the schedule.
It's something that comes throughout the season, ... The first time I obviously wanted to be player of the year, then I said let's see if I can do it again. This year I was totally focused on majors, thinking if I won all four majors, I could become player of the year.
The atmosphere is there, and the talk is there, and now we have to just play. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. We don't voice our opinions the way they do. Hopefully we can let our clubs do the talking.
