Sometimes, it doesn't go your way. I hit a few bad shots, a few bad putts, and it just accumulated. Fortunately for me, I'm playing next week. I've got to forget about this as soon as I can.
There's no secret what my goals are. I set my goals last year and I didn't achieve it then. Then I thought this was a natural goal again. If you look at the last two weeks, I think I'm as ready as I can be.
There's much more than just the Hall of Fame, ... You've got Player of the Year, the money list, etc., that are important right now.
That was one of my worst swings of the week. Bad timing.
That was local knowledge. If I had never seen that putt before, I wouldn't have played enough break.
That was a pretty crucial eagle. And the momentum definitely turned there.
That's the new generation, ... I think we should welcome them all and say, 'Hey, that's good for golf.'
I wasn't expecting to make that one. But it rolled in and I said, 'you know what, it's turning around, I'm going to make some now,'
I wasn't expecting that. I said to my caddie, 'It's turning around. I'm going to make some now.
I wasn't trying to just make pars, because I figured there's some birdies out there, and the last thing you want to do is just go out there cruising and all of a sudden somebody catches you and it's tough to change gears at the time,
I was nervous. I woke up a little early, ... I had a few butterflies in my stomach.
My caddie told me not to get too cute. He told me, 'Just get it on the green. You're putting well.' That's what I did.
Michelle is very, very talented, ... She is a great asset to golf. I welcome her. The bottom line is, I'm a competitor. I will have my game do the talking. I think it has for the last 10 years, and I will continue to do it that way.
Match play is very, very different than stroke play. I think it's fun to have a different format. It's a little bit more drama because anything can happen and every hole is a different match.
