Annika Sörenstam; born 9 October 1970) is a retired Swedish professional golfer, one of the most successful female golfers in history. Before stepping away from competitive golf at the end of the 2008 season, she had won 90 international tournaments as a professional, making her the female golfer with the most wins to her name. It doesn't bother me. I think it's great we're getting more attention. If I couldn't get the attention, I'm glad Michelle can get it. I'm just happy to be a part of it. I know what I've achieved. I know the records that I have set, and nobody can take those away.
Obviously, endurance is going to play a role, there's no doubt about it. It's a hilly course and you've got to be in good shape, especially if the temperatures are up there. If we get the humidity, it could be quite tough. Having said that, I'm glad that I've been working out the last few years.
I finished good down the stretch today, as I did yesterday. (On No. 18), I had to get it up and hope it landed softly. I've been working a lot on my bunker shots this winter, so I feel good about it. ... It would have been really hard if I were in the rough. I was glad I was in the bunker.
It's great to be back in Orlando. I'm glad it's here and I'm glad we're back and hopefully it will stay here for some time.
