Match play is very, very different than stroke play. I think it's fun to have a different format. It's a little bit more drama because anything can happen and every hole is a different match.
I have been in this situation before to have a chance to three-peat. It is always a lot of fun to see if you can do it.
I finished good down the stretch today as I did Thursday. I must say I played well today, I couldn't really get it going at all. I had three three-putts, but it's funny because I feel like I'm putting well.
It's always nice to get off to a good start and get some momentum for the week. It's no fun getting off to a rotten start. You have to fight back all the way, and you don't feel like you can make any mistakes.
It's a lot of fun coming out for a practice round and having the crowd behind you and cheering you on (a few) days before the event.
They're not in the way. They're part of the Tour. It's fun to see a new generation come up with some great attitudes, great games. It is fun to see. Like I said, I love the new challenge.
It was horrible, no fun at all. It was a really tough day -- it was windy, rainy and cold. I just wanted to finish and have a cup of coffee in the clubhouse.
We don't voice our opinions the way they do. Hopefully, we can let our clubs do the talking.
I've never seen anything like it. The last time I saw crowds like this was the U.S. Open on a Sunday,
The spectators have been fantastic. It has been a really first-class event and I'm happy here.
I've been there before. You've just got to keep on grinding. I proved it again to myself that you just can never give up.
I've been hitting it beautifully, driving it good and hitting a lot of greens. But nothing seems to happen. I'm being optimistic, my game is there.
I've been on vacation for two weeks. I feel very relaxed. I've had a chance to practice quite a bit the last two days. I needed a break, but now I feel good again, so I'm looking forward to a great week.
They always have a great field in Phoenix. That's what makes it one of the best tournaments on the tour. I have some wonderful memories from playing in Phoenix, and certainly winning the last two at Superstition Mountain are included, so I'm looking forward to coming back.
