Annika Sörenstam; born 9 October 1970) is a retired Swedish professional golfer, one of the most successful female golfers in history. Before stepping away from competitive golf at the end of the 2008 season, she had won 90 international tournaments as a professional, making her the female golfer with the most wins to her name. I've had four weeks off, so I'm happy to be here. I'm ready to come back and play some tournaments. I am excited to get going again. I normally don't have four weeks off in the summer, but it just turned out to be that this year. I played in Europe three weeks and needed a long break.
I think (Creamer's) very excited to be part of the team. She has every right to be,
I'm excited for her to come out and play with us, ... It's a big step for her to turn professional, but I think she can handle it.
