I came from far behind today. I did not really expect anything, especially when you see people like Paula and Cristie up there. They're winners. They've done this before.
Honestly, I don't feel like I'm here to prove anything. I'm here to play golf. I know where I'm at on the money list. You know where I'm at. I'm here to reach my own goals, play my own game. I don't look at it that way. I see it as an opportunity for me.
Honestly, I didn't feel like I'm here to prove anything. I know where I am on the money list. I'm here to reach my own goals, play my own golf. I see this as an opportunity to win this tournament for the fifth time.
I don't think that's something I would be interested in, but who knows? Well, I was only there for about two days, so it's tough for me to tell you really what I think.
I am working as hard in the gym as ever, and I feel as strong as ever. Knock on wood, I haven't had any injuries. I have learned so much the last few years.
I am pretty happy. I think I left a few out there on my front, which was my back, ... Three-under is a good score. It's not great, but not a bad one.
I could not have asked for a better start to 2006 and I hope we'll be able to come back and defend our title next year.
I can't believe it happened, ... I was just hoping to get it on the green.
I don't look at them and say, 'Hey, I got to practice, I got to do this and that,' ... I know what I want to achieve in my career, I'm pretty much a self-motivator.
I'm not so disappointed. I think J.J. just played incredible. I think she would have been very hard to catch today. So my hat's off to her. She played excellent.
I'm not going to the range. I'm going home. I'm just going to get focused and get my game ready for next week.
I'm excited for her to come out and play with us, ... It's a big step for her to turn professional, but I think she can handle it.
I'm excited to be here. It's great to be back as a defending champion. I think the golf course is in as good shape as I've ever seen it. I think that makes it even more special. I think I'm as ready as I can be.
I really didn't know what to expect, ... It's tricky on certain holes and the greens have a lot of different pin possibilities. There was wind yesterday, and today there was no wind. I'm sure we can get a lot of different conditions - it was a little cold this morning and warm in the afternoon. I'm looking forward to it.
