I've been on vacation for two weeks. I feel very relaxed. I've had a chance to practice quite a bit the last two days. I needed a break, but now I feel good again, so I'm looking forward to a great week.
I thought I played well today. I didn't score as well, but I had a lot of chances and am very happy with my game.
Obviously, I'm very, very happy to get a chance to do something today that nobody has ever done before.
I have been in this situation before to have a chance to three-peat. It is always a lot of fun to see if you can do it.
I feel like I've been playing so well the last couple of weeks, ... I knew coming in here I had a chance to win this event for the fifth time. I've had it in the back of my mind. It only happens maybe once, so you have to take advantage of it.
You can never really win a tournament on the first day, but I feel sometimes there's a chance you can lose it by shooting a high score. So I'm very happy with this start. It was really the start I wanted.
I think the biggest pressure comes from myself, I have very high expectations, ... I always feel like when I come to a tournament I want to be ready to play and that's one of the reasons I don't play as many events. I want my game to be top notch and I want every chance to win.
We look at history. We have a challenge ahead of ourselves. You only get a chance so many times. That's all I need to get going.
I had the chance to do something today that nobody else has done, so of course I felt some pressure all week, ... That is what motivates me. That is why I play this game. To come here and do something like this, it's just very gratifying.
We don't voice our opinions the way they do. Hopefully, we can let our clubs do the talking.
I've never seen anything like it. The last time I saw crowds like this was the U.S. Open on a Sunday,
The spectators have been fantastic. It has been a really first-class event and I'm happy here.
I've been there before. You've just got to keep on grinding. I proved it again to myself that you just can never give up.
I've been hitting it beautifully, driving it good and hitting a lot of greens. But nothing seems to happen. I'm being optimistic, my game is there.
