Alan Stuart Trammellis an American former professional baseball shortstop for the Detroit Tigers. He currently serves as a special assistant to the Detroit Tigers. Trammell, nicknamed "Tram", played his entire career with the Tigers, highlighted by a World Series championship in 1984 and an American League East division championship in 1987. We haven't had too many of these games lately. Carlos comes out right from the get-go with a home run, and it seemed to kind of snowball from there.

He (Rodriguez) even mentioned it. He can't believe it. From our view, it's a little low, but you could see the ball got away from the shortstop, it was a poor throw and he was safe. When you're going bad, nothing seems to be going right. It just doesn't look good.

I give those guys credit over there, ... They have a worse record. They're battling. And that's what we should be doing, to be honest with you. That's the kind of way you're supposed to play. At this point, they have nothing to play for except for what you're supposed to play for: It's another game. That's the job, and they seem to be doing a better job of it than we are right now.

I'll be curious to see myself because on Tuesday, that wasn't the same club. They got it together the last couple of days. They're playing very well, but for whatever reason, when (Eric) Chavez came back yesterday it seemed to give them a little lift.

(Graffanino's) hit us whether he's been with the Royals, White Sox, Boston. He seems to always get on base, some how, some way. He's been a thorn in our side.

We got pounded tonight, no question. Jeremy (Bonderman) was not sharp and fell behind hitters. It just wasn't his night. They got back on track and we just couldn't stop them.
