days five liked
I liked what I saw, ... We're going to see him five days from now.
discuss few honest quite sure
I'm sure we'll discuss quite a few things, to be honest with you.
against good luck seen short struggle tough
In his short career, he's pitched well against us, ... I know he's 5-16. I know he's had some tough luck and all, but I think he's going to be a good one. This year's been a struggle for him, but from what I've seen of him, he can pitch.
guy light sure
In light of how things are going, this guy is too valuable. We want to make sure that he's OK. Hopefully, it's just one start.
good middle pitches
I know some of them were good hitting, but I'd say there have been way too many pitches in the middle of the plate.
guys initially latter normally
I'm reserving judgment, but normally I like to put (young) guys initially at the latter part (of the lineup), a kind of coattail,
hold smoked
That first inning was really a big inning. Dmitri smoked it. We couldn't hold 'em after that.
That first inning could have been something to get you going, ... But then it was, 'Ah! Here we go again.'
year
This is kind of the way our year has been,
ball huge settled
Not too shabby. Getting out of that first inning was huge for him, because you could see he was nervous, but he got that big double-play ball and then he settled in.
available counting far maybe playing
I'm not counting on it. I'd like to say maybe he'd be available to pinch-hit, but as far as playing his position, I don't see it happening.
pitching wear whether
I'm not into whether they've got all the pitching or not. They wear you down offensively.
I have not been told anything. I'll find out tomorrow.
best guy guys honest time
In 2003, (Bonderman) was the best guy for the job, to be honest with you. We didn't have guys in the organization at that time that were better.
