best capable games good options though
I just think with the options we have that it's my best option, ... even though he has not pitched well. He has pitched some good games and he's capable in my mind, but it hasn't been real pretty here lately.
good great hard history
I know it didn't look good when it happened, but it's hard to say how long it's going to be. I feel for Rondell because he's had a history of injuries, and he's a great guy.
block might runs score stop
In the sixth, not being able to block the ball, that was huge. We might still be playing. ... We didn't stop them after that, but we didn't score any runs either, so it's a moot point.
I have not been told anything. I'll find out tomorrow.
best guy guys honest time
In 2003, (Bonderman) was the best guy for the job, to be honest with you. We didn't have guys in the organization at that time that were better.
came chavez couple curious last playing seemed together whatever yesterday
I'll be curious to see myself because on Tuesday, that wasn't the same club. They got it together the last couple of days. They're playing very well, but for whatever reason, when (Eric) Chavez came back yesterday it seemed to give them a little lift.
year
This is kind of the way our year has been,
ball huge settled
Not too shabby. Getting out of that first inning was huge for him, because you could see he was nervous, but he got that big double-play ball and then he settled in.
home
If you don't want to play, go home -- but don't get paid, either.
needs
He's still not where he needs to be.
good
He started in Double-A and made it to Triple-A, which is a good sign,
chances valuable
He's too valuable to take any chances with.
feeling hoping saying says
He's saying that he's not feeling as well as would like to. He says he can pitch, but why. We're hoping it would be better and it is not.
coffin gave innings jeremy location nail team three
I don't think Jeremy was sharp. Velocity-wise he was fine, but location he was not. He didn't have it. We got pounded. Honestly, it could have been worse. We scored in three innings and all three times we gave up runs. It's another nail in the coffin for a team that is already kind of fragile. It was not pretty.
