He served as the head football coach at Wake Forest University from 1981 to 1986 and at the University of Virginia from 2001 to 2009, compiling a career college football coaching record of 85–92. Obviously this is one of the most inexperienced teams we've had, as indicated by the fact that we only have one senior in the defensive lineup. But we have a lot of talented young players, so they just need a lot of days like this to come on. It's going to be very important that we bring them on as fast as we can.

It's kind of gone back and forth a little bit. As the wear and strain of training camp goes on, there have been real good days for him, and there have been other days when he hasn't been quite as comfortable with circumstances.

He was a great inspiration to the players and coaches. On those days when he had to take chemo and radiation, he was at practice that day and sometimes the cumulative effects would cause him to miss the next day, but the time when he wasn't active in the program was minimal.

Andrew gets open, and when the quarterbacks see him, they fire the ball to him. Ogletree has a little bit of that ability. Both of them have some of the better skills that we have. Both of them had one of those days today where they had plays of significance and plays that they could have made.
