agent anybody december free given help less might months oriented picking plans provide until
I've given it less thought than anybody else because months ago I made plans to go on without him, ... When he comes back, it's going to be like picking up a free agent at midseason. We'll try to get him oriented to the system. Obviously, he'll help provide something we didn't have the day before. Other than that, we might be going until December without him. I don't think about it.
anticipate bigger calls continue effort eventually maybe offense overall planning result role structure taking terms
No. It will continue to be as things have been. It has always been a collaborative effort here and will continue to be a collaborative effort. Eventually all the calls go through me. I think as a result of some things that transpired in December, I would anticipate maybe taking a bigger role in the overall structure of the planning in terms of what we're going to do on offense and defense.
direction might mix moving talk
It's not for sure, but I'd say it's probably moving in that direction, ... Some of it's moving in that direction; some of it's not going as fast. There's no sense speculating. Who we talk about now might not be there Saturday; who's not in the mix right now might be there Saturday.
best eight game giving impossible point quite satisfied team week win
Each team is different. Each team is doing different things at a different level, and each week is a different week. I don't make comparisons, and I think it's impossible to do so. But our team is what it is. It's giving the best that it's got. We're going to try to win every game that we can by as much as we can. If we can do that eight more times by one more point than the other guy's got, I think we'll all be quite satisfied with that.
context issue plays running within
The big issue with running plays are offside linemen cut-blocks, ... Cut-blocks, if done within the context of the move, are legal.
advantage confidence cut speed taking
Not so much more speed . . . but more confidence in making that cut and taking advantage of what was there,
good progress towards work
That's blue-collar work in there. Sometimes that has to be developed, and he's making good progress towards that.
accuracy bad emphasize everybody forget halftime matter perfect remember tried
They weren't a matter of bad reads. It was an accuracy situation. What we tried to emphasize to everybody at halftime was to remember that things aren't always going to be perfect and to forget about it.
apart caused defense disruptive fall games nature siege turn
They have you under siege most of the game, particularly if they're able to get the lead, then they can really turn it loose. The disruptive nature of their defense historically has caused games to fall apart for the opponent.
basic condense gang nature scheme
That's the basic nature of their scheme anyway, to gang up on the run, try to condense the field.
gave point turning
That's a big turning point in the game. It gave us a lot of juice, a lot of momentum.
everybody games good guy happened hot job last likes missed problem year
It's like, 'Hey, Wali Lundy is back,' ... So everybody likes Wali Lundy. Wali Lundy never went anyplace. There was never any problem with Wali, other than some games he missed because of injury. We happened to have a guy who got very hot for us last year and did a real good job for us.
calls continue effort
It'll continue to be as things have been. It's always been a collaborative effort here. Eventually, all the calls go through me.
adjust competition course game reaction
It'll be very interesting for us to see the game reaction of some of these players, not just to the competition . . . but how they're able to adjust to things during the course of the game.
