He served as the head football coach at Wake Forest University from 1981 to 1986 and at the University of Virginia from 2001 to 2009, compiling a career college football coaching record of 85–92. We'll try to get him oriented to the system. Obviously, he'll help provide something we didn't have the day before. Other than that, we might be going until December without him. What we care about is winning and losing, and staying together as a team, and trying to play the kind of sound, solid, tough, aggressive football that we like to think is our trademark.
