good great ourselves
We're in a great position. We've put ourselves in good position.
asked good question ready
We?re ready to go. Hopefully, that translates into a good start. I don?t know, it?s a question we get asked a lot.
home pushing record
You'd like that home record to be a little higher. Hopefully, we can get a little over .500 at home and keep pushing on the road.
games losing swinging tough
We're losing tough games this week, ... We're not swinging the bats. We're a little frustrated.
almost cliff deep games gave starters strong tonight
Our starters go deep into games so often that you almost take it for granted. Cliff gave us another strong one tonight after Scotty (Elarton) had one (Monday).
came good great
They?re all important now. This was a great game. They came back. We came back. It was a good win. You can?t get enough of them.
absolutely cliff conscious dugout effort fun guys knack pride takes winning year
Absolutely there are guys who have a knack for winning games. Cliff is one of them, and it's very underrated. All year long, if we have a big inning, he makes a conscious effort to get us back in the dugout fast. He takes a lot of pride in that. He's fun to play behind.
believe exciting runs score wild
That one was gift-wrapped, but when you score 11 runs in an inning you've got to do a lot of things right. It was pretty wild in the dugout. It was a pretty exciting atmosphere. It was like a little kid's feeling. We were giddy. You can't believe what's happening.
messages send time white year
You don't send any messages this time of year (to the White Sox).
bad bit game good humbling lately time
This game humbles you all the time in good and bad ways. It's been humbling a little bit lately in a bad way, and this is just the same. It's humbling.
capable certainly confident fact feels felt good last respect takes team win
I think we respect the fact of what it takes to win the World Series. I certainly respect that. I felt like they were a really good team last year, so we respect who we're playing. But I also think that everyone in here feels pretty confident about what we're capable of doing.
exciting feeling level matter moment normal opening playing wait wake
Opening day, you can't wait for it to get here and then you can't wait to get it over with so you can get into your normal routine. It's an exciting day in America. No matter what level you're playing baseball, even back in Little League, there's an exciting feeling about opening day from the moment you wake up.
bowl fireworks music super
Kind of like the Super Bowl before the game. All the fireworks and the music blasting.
awesome lost pickup remember together trade
I think it got a little lost in the Coco Crisp trade, but if Mota is healthy, that's an awesome pickup for us. I remember when he and (Eric) Gagne were together in the Dodgers' bullpen. They were electric.
