We had looked at a number of areas before. We were fortunate enough to become involved with the Y and their dreams. This location was excellent and we just feel very fortunate we were able to work something out and secure the property.
We had hoped to get more done, but there were so many obstacles.
We had a lot of shots and a lot of shots that we are going to make normally. We couldn't throw anything in the ocean tonight it seemed like. We've struggled against the zone all year. They just came out and played better than we did - way better.
We had a lot of people who placed. We won a couple of third-place matches that were really beneficial to us.
We had a lot of missed tackles and kids lining up wrong. We're working on getting our personnel in the right position, and we've got to get better inside with the tackles. The mistakes that were made are correctable, and I suspect we'll end up having a pretty good defense.
We had a lot of guys step up today.
We had a lot of guys around the football. One of the keys to the game was that we were able to control the line of scrimmage offensively and defensively.
We had a lot of experience this year. We all knew what we were doing and knew what we had to get done in order to get where we wanted to get.
We had a lot of easy looks at the basket.
We had friends who had come down and talked about it. But it's even more beautiful than we expected. We have fallen in love with it.
We had two or three bad penalties, but they never gave up and kept playing hard. They kept fighting.
We had trouble with the zone in the second half. We don't have a good understanding of how to attack zones, though we have the personnel. But for us to compete on (Monticello's) home floor is tremendous.
We had trouble during that first quarter. We had some decent shots that we didn't make. That has been our problem all year we have a quarter somewhere in the game that always hurts us. But the kids didn't quit, showing a lot of character on their part, and they kept plugging away at it.
We had to try to get every defensive rebound. We wanted to limit their second-chance points. At the end of the game, we wanted to stay disciplined and not run with the lead.
