I think I'm doing OK. I think our No. 1 defense is doing fine. It's a mental thing, not physical mistakes. I don't think I've made any mistakes like that. The mistakes we made against Baltimore wasn't me.

We've been starting slow and waiting for the game to come to us instead of attacking it. You can't dig a hole and expect to come back against a good public school team like Bluffton.
We just need to play our game against Basic and not worry about the hype.

I've always been able to make a living, a pretty decent one. The progress has always been steady, if not spectacular. Every kid in the family, besides Marvel, left the house by the age of 16. There was less stress living on our own than trying to survive in the environment we were in. I don't know how Marvel did it. He spent his time playing football, but the cards were stacked against him.
Down through the history of Peabody, we've always put together a tough schedule. The reason is to give the guys experience against top-notch competition. Once you do that, it tends to get the butterflies out, and it helps them realize where their game is.
