I got a pretty good look down the stretch and I hit a few free throws. That's big, especially after I missed a few shots earlier.
I got a long great with the guys at Franklin Pierce, and there were some incredible baseball players on that team, but I didn't think I was going to get an opportunity to play much there. Having Adam already at the school made the transition pretty easy for me.
I got a little nervous when we didn't get the first couple of sites. But he's handled that really well. I haven't heard him complain at all.
I get out of bounds and when I'm getting up, somebody pushed me back down. I grabbed the ref to get his attention to say, 'Hey, did you see that?' You are not supposed to touch the ref. I understand that. I wasn't doing it to put him down or anything like that. I put my hand on his back. It was a gesture.
I get lots of support from my wife (Wanda).
I get irritated with the world. I get irritated with politicians. I get very irritated with governments and with corporations, but in terms of imagination - my imagination is always fertile. I'm either thinking of my own things or constantly engaged by the things that other people do.
I go into every tournament expecting to win. It was a little tougher here with the cross country travel, but I try to block all that out and just keep my mind and body at an even keel.
I go home to Iowa. I call it defrosting my heart. Everyone in Iowa is so simple, a genuine. In this business, sometimes you can get cold-hearted. When I go, even if it's 20 below and snowing, I come back with a warm heart.
I get to fish a lot of wild and wonderful places on tour.
I get tired of everyone trying to push this and make money off it. What about quality of life?
If we see (broad economic growth in) Europe total at over 2 percent, that would be a significant increase from last year. At the same time, we're going to see Japan show positive economic growth for the first time in several years. What that's going to do is (encourage) money flowing out of the dollar.
If we see another (earnings) pre-announcement tomorrow or Monday, it could be a whole new ball game, but right now it's just sort of caught in a range.
If we say anything, it's going to be critical, so I have no comment,
If this were the only thing that ever happened to Jack, it might be a little easier to take. But we'll get through it.
