I thought we did a good job defensively on their athletic kids.
I thought we played very well defensively in the first half. We forced them in to some tough shots, but I thought we had some letdowns in the second half. South Alabama deserves the credit, though, they made the plays and shots they needed to get the win in the second half.
I thought we played satisfied hockey. We were ahead of a quality team and we just let off. If you stand around and watch a team with the talent they have up front, you're going to pay for it.
I thought we had a full team effort today, everybody played except for two of our goalkeepers. San Jose was very organized and kept numbers back. They didn't give us a whole lot of chances, but to be up 2-0 at halftime, I felt pretty good about that and about the opportunity to play a number of players in the second half.
