I feel a lot better as far as feeling more calm and more experienced and seeing things. It's only been like 10 starts in between. I'm definitely trying to be a better quarterback than I was in that game last year. I'll try to be more efficient and controlling of the offense.

I don't want to call them projections. When they needed more money to promise everything to everybody, the numbers went up.

I don't want to be too anxious about it. I did what I could. I thought I had a pretty good camp, period. And I guess coming out and having a good game in the last preseason game could help.

I don't want to look at this as an opportunity. My heart goes out to Correll. It's a game, and we do have to keep the ship moving. But at the same time, you don't want to lose somebody like that.

He's matured a lot from spring training to now. That's great to see. He's been awesome, working his tail off every single day. It's been paying off. He's a guy you want to see coming up when you have a chance to score.

I could feel everybody, ... I knew I had to charge home. I'm happy that I just finished clean and strong. I enjoy the heptathlon. At first, it was an adjustment for me. I'm not completely developed in all the events. I believe I can do both.

Some of the best rock riffs ever written were by Jimmy Page, and I can't really name the songs, but some of the stuff he did on his first and second records is beyond brilliant.

'Back In The Saddle' - I never realised what a good riff that was, or at least how much it satisfied me. And when we play it live, it comes across much better than I ever expected it to.

I'm a Republican, but I'm a Republican from the old school. I was taught that you get what you put into it. You can be anything you want to be if you work hard enough at it, and you can earn your place. That's the old way.

My Portuguese uncle had a Portuguese version of a ukulele. The family would pull it out after dinner and play Portuguese folk songs on it. I couldn't wait for him to finish so I could get my hands on it. I was seven or eight years old. And he used to have a Fender amp in his house and an electric guitar. I would spend hours making sounds.
