First off let me say, I've wanted to be an actress since I was a little girl.
As a little girl I always dreamed of having a cosmetics contract, which was the cherry on top of 'making it' in my opinion.
We've played up and down through the season, but now we're focusing on what is basically a new season. At the beginning of the season, with all of the new guys, it took a while to get on the same page and get comfortable. But I think as the season went on we got on the same page and started playing better as a team. Lately, we've had a little more success as a team.
We talked to some of the guys after practice and they said it was nice release. Some things are more important than high school football, and our game pales in comparison.
What Texas A&M beating Texas really means to me is it just confirms what I said all along - this league is not down. There are some awful good teams in this league.
We missed pretty much all of last week so we can use this week to get things straightened out and get caught up. That's the important thing.
We signed these kids early so this is not an evaluation. We're just here for support.
We should have been running in that situation. Then we didn't run a good route and that's what happens.
Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of the men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory.
We are at a crossroads right now and have the ability to be successful if we can continue to learn as a team and compete at game time.
We have done well on that all season. We have not had to rely on one guy for our 3-point shots.
Brent's a young man that wasn't getting the attention that we felt like he deserved. We sat down with his dad, John, and made DVDs and sent them out. We're trying to get some visits lined up for him and hopefully things will fall into place and he will get some offers.
There is definitely room for improvement, but I don't want people to think this is all doom and gloom. A lot of students are coming out of high school very well prepared and masterful of their education. ... We do a pretty good job in this state, the system is not broken, but it can be improved and it needs to be improved if we are going to compete in today's world and tomorrow's future.
There is nothing pretty about his game. But he comes to play every day - he puts his heart in it.
