I was very lucky. When the board brought me in as an interim, they were very specific. They said they didn't want to lose momentum and they wanted me to go ahead and act as if I were permanent. They were very generous in encouraging me to face up to the problems.

I was told she and her husband were getting a divorce and that she wanted to keep the property. After a year she was to refinance it and when it was paid off my credit score would go up.

I was hoping it would rim out and I would get the rebound. I was trying not to let him go to the hole because if he backs me down, he's going to score. But he made his shot, and it was a big-time shot.
